Esther is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with over 10 years of professional practice. Having obtained her Physiotherapy degree at University of Pretoria in 2012, she also acquired her SPT (Sport Physiotherapy) certification in 2016. Throughout her career, she has worked across various sporting disciplines, with a particular focus on cricket, athletics and rugby, including professional men's cricket teams as well as the South Africa Proteas U/19 men's and women's teams. One of the highlights of Esther’s career was travelling with Team South Africa to the Africa Games, where she played a key role in ensuring athletes were in peak physical condition and provided rehabilitation and injury management when necessary. This experience gave her valuable insight into the physical demands of elite sport and the importance of effective injury prevention and recovery strategies. In addition to her work in sport, Esther has experience in medical settings, working in ICU as well as providing pre- and post-operative care. This background has strengthened her ability to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care, particularly in rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery. Esther believes in a holistic approach to treatment, focusing not only on the injury but on the overall well-being of each patient. With a strong skillset in rehabilitation and exercise, she is committed to creating personalised programmes that help individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence. Whether working with elite athletes or everyday individuals, she aims to provide the highest level of care, ensuring full recovery and peak performance.
