    Family General Practitioner with over 10 years of extensive and varied experience. I transitioned from the slopes of Table Mountain (Vredehoek) Cape Town for the tropical North of Mauritius mid-2022. I currently run an online, telemedicine practice for South Africans based in South Africa.


    I live with a deep appreciation for the privilege and responsibility I hold as a general practitioner. General practice is challenging; it's relational, broad in scope, and specialized in its application to each individual. From newborn checkups to caring for elderly patients in their twilight years, each day brings new patients with diverse health concerns, ensuring that no two days are alike. Every day offers an opportunity to understand the unique needs of my patients and partner with them on their journey to whole-person health. It's about providing comprehensive care across all stages of life, which enriches my practice and broadens my perspective.

    Amazing family Doctor who always has our very best health interests at heart. My kids adore 'Dr Jo' and have been known to sit on her lap through most of our appointments! I would highly recommend Dr Leach to any woman and/or mom with kids, she's that great.

    I have only ever had amazing experiences of going to see "Dr. Jo" (as we call her in our family). Visiting the doctor isn't usually something you look forward to, but going to see Dr. Leach has always been a positive experience for us. She is efficient and has a great balance of professionalism and compassion. She's great with our toddler and baby boy too! Highly recommend her.
