Wait time is excellent if you make your appointments on time. The doctors cant say how long they going to be with a patient. Really great doctors here though, I haven't been anywhere else since I found them.
This was actually my 3rd visit at the doctor and can honestly say that the 2 doctors that I have seen so far, Dr Rassouw and Dr de Beer are very very and true organizational citizens. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and are also very friendly.However, I do have a problem with the lady at reception(the coloured lady). First and foremost, the first I called the doctor she answer the phone in a very unprofessional manner. I was a never patient and did not know the specific location of the doctor, when I asked her where they are located she explained but could not really explain where they are located. She said that they are close to the small Shoprite in Kraaifontein and that I should just turn somewhere, whereby I asked her for a address in order for me to type it into my Navigator but she could not provide me with a address. Secod visit at the doctor I was waiting to be helped by a doctor after I already made an appointment for 11:45 that day. Reason for that was because I still had to go to work. Pass 12:00 after sitting for 15 minutes and not helped she told me the reason why I am still sitting is because I was late. I replied and told her I have been sitting here for quite some time and I am not late, she apologized and I was helped after waiting for a very long time. Today(7/09/2015), I went to the doctor again to fetch a letter in order for me to see the specialist. When I got there, I was told my appointment is scheduled for 08/09/2015 @ 15:30, whereby I was so disappointment because no one consulted me when they made a booking. I told her that I will not be able to go to the specialist 08/09/2015 at 15:30 as I am working shift and start at 14:00-23:00 so I will not be able to go there. The lady at receptionist made as it was my problem when they made a booking without consulting me. She contacted the doctor to ask if they can schedule the appointment for earlier, but she did not do her utmost best to accommodate me. She kept on making as it was my problem. This lady has no customer obsession and she does not answer the question ask. She had a attitude and a very rude way of answer a question asks. Customer service is one of the biggest things we lack in South Africa, and to still get bad customer service at a doctor due to someone who does not know how to speak to patients or how to interact with them and how to go that extra mile for customers is pathetic. Customer service is highly important and it is something that we as South Africans should try to practice everyday. Tips for the lady at Reception: *Treat every customer as a friend, *Answer the question ask, * Listen to what the customer asks, *Try to do your utmost best for the customer to make the customer to feel important and to give the customer that WOW experience, *Try to step aside from having attitude. *Don't let a salary be the only job satisfaction that you are having. Please send her on a sort customer service course as she is the FACE of your practice at the moment, and first impressions always count.
