Dr Schafer is very professional and thorough in examining patients. She inspires confidence in her ability to treat one. A relaxed, friendly and warm demeanour sets one at ease and makes one feel comfortable in her presence. I strongly recommend her.

Appointment was made on line four days in advance. I was surprised when called from the waiting room that Dr Sharpey Schafer was on holiday. I had to keep the appointment with a strange doctor who was very pleasant but completely unfamiliar with my condition. I expect to see the doctor with whom I make the appointment or to be advised if she is not available. I should have been told of this in the message I received confirming my appointment.

With changes to my medical aid, I could no longer see my usual GP and started seeing Dr Sharpey-Schafer. She has become my go-to GP for my family and I. She is patient, is excellent with my girls and very thorough. She is also always smiling and welcoming.
