Dr Engelbrecht is professional and puts you at ease. She treats you as a person and not just a number on the list. You may have to wait a bit longer but you have her full attention when you are in her rooms.

We've been with Dr Engelbrecht for many many years. Love how knowledgeable she is. If she's not sure of something she's very willing to consult. Love that she doesn't let her ego get in place of a diagnosis or ensuring that her patient gets the best care. She's very empathetic which is something that you don't often see in the medical field. Absolute favourite GP. Super thorough, professional and comforting. I see a few people giving her bad ratings on waiting times and I do not agree that waiting is something to complain about with this doctor. The wait is worth it and makes sense when you finally get into her office as you are able to see first hand how dedicated and invested she is in her patients and truly helping them get to the bottom of their ailments.

Dr Lizette Engelbrecht will surprise you by her interest in the well being of her patients. She listens and asks questions. She is interested and respectful. Example: One time I had to go for a big operation and I did not tell her about it nor that I was afraid. I was wheeled into the pre-op room feeling very vulnerable and alone when I heard her voice and there she was dressed to watch over her patient. She put her arms around me and hugged me. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. The surgeon let her know about the operation and there she was. ❤️
