I’m a wife, mom and General Practitioner in Vredehoek, Cape Town. I have a passion for medicine and thoroughly enjoy my work. I love meeting new patients and getting to know the whole family. I have a special interest in skin and mental health as well as treating diseases of lifestyle, but am happy to see all ages and conditions. I believe in not only treating the disease, but the person as a whole. I studied at Stellenbosch University and did both my internship and community service at New Somerset Hospital in Cape Town. From there I spent time working in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. I also have research experience that I gained from working for the National Institute of Communicable Diseases. My postgraduate qualifications include diplomas in emergency care as well as HIV management.
