Harald spent 12 years at Victoria Hospital in Surgery and Emergency, until he started General Practice in Hout Bay in 1998. Harald relocated to the Hout Bay Family Medical Centre in 2000, and has been practicing there with a wide and varied interest in Psychiatry, Geriatrics, Dermatology and Chronic diseases such as diabetes, as well as interventional medicine such as surgical procedures and aesthetics. He is also a SAMSA registered Medical Practitioner, and when not working, he is trying to keep fit with cycling and hiking and the occasional trail run, taking photos and attempting some gardening and DIY at home. Harald is also game for any adventure holiday, and tries to escape to the bush at least once a year.
