After doing a Bsc at Stellenbosch university, Belinda qualified in medicine from UCT and later did a post graduate qualification in palliative care.. She has spent many years working in the public sector in family medicine and more than 20 years part time at st luke's hospice. Her interests lie in all aspects of general family medicine including family dynamics, chronic medical problems such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma etc and in geriatrics. She also enjoys doing small procedures but her main areas of interest and passion are oncology and palliative care. 

She joined the Hout Bay Family Medical Center in 2022 and hasn't looked back since!
