Kerynn Constable graduated with a Bachelor of Speech-Language Therapy & Audiology dgree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2003. She completed a year of community service in KwaZulu Natal before embarking on work abroad in the United Kingdom from 2005 - 2007. She opened her private practice in 2008 and was situated at, Morningside Clinic before joining Premier Health Centre in 2019. Kerynn also completed her Masters degree in Early Childhood Intervention from the University of Pretoria in 2010. Kerynn is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) and the South African Association of Audiologists (SAAA). Some of the services offered are: Screening * Newborn Hearing Screening - well babies with no risk factors and no NICU stay * Adult Hearing Screening - basic hearing check, further testing may be required at a later stage * School Screening - onsite school hearing screening tests and comprehensive reports for all ages and grades - per request Diagnostic * Diagnostic Audiological Assessments (includes Pure Tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry, Immittance Measurements (Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflex Threshold Testing, Eustachian Tube Function Testing) and Otoacoustic Emissions Testing (DPOAE, TEOAE) Hearing Instrument Technology * Discussion, Selection & Evaluation of hearing instrument technology (on a trial basis) * Fitting of hearing instrument technology with verification (customised real-ear measurements) * Servicing & programming of hearing instrument technology * Order & supply of various hearing instrument technology accessories - domes, wax guards, batteries We supply and support hearing instruments from Signia, Widex, Phonak, Unitron, Oticon, Beltone & Starkey Hearing Protection * Hearing Protection - impression taking and ordering of various types of hearing protection, including noise plugs for musicians, hunters, motorcyclists and industrial workers; as well as swim plugs and snore plugs.
